Neptune Leak-Stop is a high-quality bituminous compound made with special-grade asphalts, fillers, and binders. Designed to stop roof leaks, it forms a hard, non-porous surface upon drying, with increased durability over time.
- Ensure the area to be sealed is clean, dry, and free of debris for best results.
- Use a spatula or similar tool for filling the gaps/cracks.
- Apply the mastic to fill cracks, gaps, and joints smoothly and evenly.
- Allow 48–72 hours for drying, noting that this time can vary based on the applied thickness and local weather conditions.
- Forms a flexible, waterproofing membrane upon drying.
- Designed for long-term protection against moisture, pests, and air infiltration, even in extreme weather.
- Dries to a black finish that blends with most construction materials.
- ✅ Apply a sufficient amount to completely fill the crack, gap, or joint to form a durable seal.
- ✅ Ensure good ventilation during application to prevent the inhalation of solvent fumes.
- ✅ Keep the product away from open flames or heat sources as it contains flammable solvents.
- ✅ If the sealant contacts skin, clean immediately with Neptune Turpentine or kerosene oil, then wash the area thoroughly with soap and water.
- ✅ Store the product in a cool, dry place with the container tightly sealed to maintain product quality and prevent solvent evaporation.
- ✅ Keep out of reach of children. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves and eye protection.
